Dressing for Cold Weather

Hypothermia The Silent Killer
Hypothermia is caused by exposure to cold, aggravated by wet, wind and exhaustion.
Traveling in cold weather conditions can be life threatening. Hypothermia is a condition of general body cooling
 (in contrast to frostbite which is localized). It can kill you!

 

 Wear several layers of loose fitting, lightweight clothing.  [Cotton Kills]
 Wear mittens instead of gloves.  Wear a hat.  
 Remember that entrapped, insulating air, warmed by body heat is the best protection from the cold.
