Fanny Pack:  9 – 15L Capacity, Water Resistant Preferred  High Energy Food, Mainstay Energy, Freeze Dried, Clif Bar, Power Bars…  Food Kit: Bouillon Soup Cubes, Tea Bags, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Sugar Packs  Clean empty tin cans (cups) or "Sierra" cups at least 1-Cup Capacity & Cutlery  Fish Kit; hooks, sinkers, floaters, rubber bait, leader & or 1” Gill Net   Emergency Long Burning Drip less Candle, or Candle Lantern  Hand Warmers Carbon Activated at least 3 packs of 2/pack  Pocket LED Headlamp or Flashlight with extra batteries  Signal Flares with pen launcher [Bear Bangers available as well]  Disposable Emergency Blanket – Silver Reflective  Small Plastic Hand Trowel  Extra Mitts, Hat, Socks, A Balaclava is an excellent option. [1-Litre]  Wide Mouth Water Bottle  Match Container with Striker Wood Matches [Windproof/Waterproof]  Small Fire Starter; Magnesium Block, Tinder Kit  Cari Cook Emergency Stove with Fuel Tablets for cooking & boiling  Emergency Tube Tent for Shelter & Visibility – Fluorescent Orange  50 feet parachute cord [Nylon Cord]  Duct Tape (you can buy or make "flat" rolls of duct tape)  High quality pocket knife w/ at least 2 cutting blades or a Multi-Purpose Tool  Saw Wire, for sawing branches for fire ignition or small camp hatchet  Surveyor Flagging Tape (bright color)  Emergency First Aid Kit and book, Band-Aids  Aspirin or equivalent and small OTC kit (Imodium, decongestant, etc)  Wet towelettes (Wet Ones) and alcohol hand sanitizer (won’t freeze)  36+ SPF sunscreen - you will quickly sunburn in snow conditions

-We recommend that this kit, if it is going to be used by more than one user be secured with electrical ties [Tie Wraps] in order to secure the integrity of the pack contents!
-Summer items to be substituted would include insect repellent, bug jackets, rain poncho, water purification tablets.
