Extreme Rating - This is a rating where the sleeping will provide some comfort to the user in emergencies or extreme and unexpected weather changes
Comfort Range - This is the target range for a particular model of sleeping bag to be used and when selecting a model.
Note: There is no standardized and regulated program to establish Temperature Ratings. Be attentive when making a selection to compare bag sizes, materials and weights before focusing on temperature ratings.
