We’ve kept our production at home in Canada because we are committed to outstanding craftsmanship and believe that no one can do it better. Our signature down-filled parkas are produced by our own facilities in Toronto, Winnipeg and by Canadian manufacturers we’ve trained to meet our extremely tough quality control standards. It’s more expensive to make our products in Canada but it’s critical for the integrity and authenticity of the brand and for the quality of our products.  

THE DOWN EXPERTS™
For over 50 years Canada Goose has developed an industry leading understanding of down insulation technology. That knowledge has allowed us to choose the best blends of down, in addition to us crafting our own premium proprietary blends, to suit the very specific requirements of each of our down-insulated jackets. We make sure the right down goes in the right product.  It is important to note that all of our down blends contain some Hutterite down. This is among the most premium Canadian down available. Its main advantage comes from tremendously dense down plumules that hold and retain more warm air than most other types of down. That results in greater warmth generated by less fill, and in turn, jackets that are manufactured to be lighter without sacrificing warmth. In a longstanding commitment by Canada Goose and Feather Industries, all down is certified to be hypo-allergenic, lab-tested, and never harvested by live plucking.  

ANTI-COUNTERFIT PROGRAM:
Goose grows in popularity our challenges have also grown to global proportions. Fake Canada Goose parkas are made with inferior materials and substandard quality, resulting in jackets that offer no protection from the elements and can actually pose health risks. Additionally, the production of counterfeit products often support illegal activities such as child labour, unsafe working conditions and organized crime. Working with a leading authority on counterfeiting, Canada Goose has developed a hologram that will be sewn into every Canada Goose jacket and accessory as proof of authenticity. The hologram, created exclusively for Canada Goose, features seven seperate images or elements that can be seen from different angles. The hologram was designed to be complex, extremely costly and difficult for counterfeiters to reproduce.
