I have had 7 of these mats for many years - thick enough for kids, teenagers and adults, but more senior campers may not be quite happy. They tend to start losing air after 3-4 years of light use (3-4 trips a year 2-3 nights each). Also, the valves seem to be the weak point - the valve material is rigid, but the rest of it is soft, so frequent bending at the point where the valve is connected to the mat may create a hole, which is difficult to repair. The repair kit, unfortunately, is not meant for long-term storage - once opened, the glue will quickly evaporate, will not be usable for the next season.
