The X-Pan shares the same concepts as the X-Series, so it fits nicely into the nesting system. This 8-inch pan is pressed from 5 series aluminum which creates a very light and stiff structure. We’ve further cut the weight down by integrating the handle hinge into a section of the rolled edge and eliminated the rest of the edge that isn’t needed. Rigid, non-corrosive stainless steel handles fold out for use and tuck down for transport. The handles have a heat-resistant silicone grip for non-slip lifting. The 2.8L X-Pot locks inside the 8” X-Pan with a friction fit.

Technologies:

Hard Anodised Lightweight Alloy:
We use high grade ultralight aluminium alloys for their excellent strength to weight ratio, resistance to corrosion and exxcellent heat conductance properties.When used in food contact applications as in cookware and cutlery the alloys hard anodized with type C anodizing to vastly improve the surface hardness to resist abrasion and also make the surfaces chemically inert and safe for food contact and cooking.

Silicone Rubber:

Silicone rubbers or more accurately polysiloxanes are inorganic elastomers with unique properties. The molecular structure contains Silicone atoms in the backbones as opposed to carbon atoms in most organic polymers and plastics. This makes silicones highly elastic and chemically inert. Silicone rubbers are best at retaining and regaining the original shape after deformation and thus are an ideal choice for resilient components. Silicones are also much more chemically inert and heat resistant as compared to organic polymers. This makes silicones safe for food contact applications and therefore we chose these to invent our X Series range of collapsible kitchenware for outdoor use. Silicones retain their elasticity and food safe properties even after being subject to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees C. The silicones used in our X series range of products are compliant to the food safety standards across the world and being chemically passive do not retain food odours.
