The North Face Inferno -40F/-40C Down Sleeping bag is the warmest expedition bag and is now made with recycled exterior fabric that still offers top-level performance. Utilizing 800 fill ProDown for the ultimate in Down Insulation; RDS Responsible Down Standard (RDS)
- Main body—made with recycled nylon—is light, durable and coated in aluminized XReflex for higher thermal retention
- Full draft collar and integrated draft overlap for comfort and to help prevent heat loss
- Side half zipper so the sleeper can make adjustments for temperature
- Trapezoidal side-chamber baffles reduce cold spots and retain loft
- Shockcords on back of the bag attach to a sleeping pad so the pad will stay in place while you sleep
- Hood cinch-cord helps seal out the cold
- Fitted hood for more warmth and comfort
- Anti-compression pads for better clo values
- Vaulted footbox
- Waterproof and breathable NeoVent Air fabric helps protect the head and footbox
